These are the gifts all wrapped up for the 12 Days of Christmas Gift Swap, expanded to 18 participants. They are starting to arrive at their destinations, but I can't tell you what is in them until after Day 9 of the gift opening. I wrapped all of my gifts in paper napkin which I hope everyone can use in an art project after opening the gifts. The tag which needed to indicate which day it is to be opened on is made from a collage done on a playing card and scanned. This is then printed to ATC size and rubber stamped with a large no. 9 and the word "Day" I punched a hole in the corner and added a piece of yarn. The packages are tied with a silver curling ribbon.

The images are from a free collage sheet from The Lady's Closet" The words are from Quietfire Design word stamp set. I used glitter, fibre and rhinestones on these.

May Fat Book Page

This is the Fat Book Page I made for the Byhand Artists Yalpha Mingle. I started the same as the journal page in this previous post. I assembled the front and back leaving the edge open to form a pocket for the tag. The tag is a digital scrapbook paper resized to fit the tag dimensions and my "L" quote and info on the back. The front of the tag is a Quietfire Design stamp with pigment ink and embossed with Peidot embossing powder. I punched holes along the edge and added tons of fibres.

Of Valentine ATCs and Breaks

I had this nice post I was getting ready about some ATCs I was creating for the Grind swap in the theme of fabric and fibre, but was going to do more before I posted. Well since on Wed, Feb. 13 I opted for this glamourous fashion accessory which goes with everything, I only got 2 done. So since my art work is limited until the broken wrist heals, I have decided to show you what I did. I found these wonderful hair elastics at a dollar store and with 2 per card there was lots of ribbons and potential. I used this great image from recycled cardstock and punched holes down one side. I tied the ribbon and some fibre into the holes. For the second ATC I mounted it on black cardstock and lettered "Valentine" with silver gel pen. I spaced the holes further apart on this one, so there is not as many pieces of ribbon and fibre. I did get to the monthly swap at the Grind and these 2 were quickly swapped along with 2 others I had.
